Connecting your wallet address
One address does everything here: it is your mining username, the address the pool pays, your login for a member account, and the address your membership payment must come from. There is no password and no email to remember — the wallet is the account.
Get an address
Skip this if you already mine to a BDAG address — that same one works for everything below.
Install a wallet
MetaMask, Rabby, Trust Wallet or any other EVM wallet. On a phone, install the app; on a computer, the browser extension.
Create or import an account
Write the recovery phrase down on paper and keep it offline. Nobody from WelshDAG will ever ask you for it — anyone who does is stealing from you.
Copy your address
It starts with
0xand is 42 characters long. Upper or lower case does not matter. That string is what you paste everywhere in this guide.
Add the WelshDAG network
Needed to see your BDAG in your wallet. Mining works without it, but your balance reads zero until the network is added, because your wallet is looking at the wrong chain.
The quick way
On welshdag.co.uk there is an Add network button that fills all of this in for you. Use the table above only if your wallet refuses it.
Point a miner at the pool
Enter the pool details
Three fields, whatever your miner software or ASIC firmware calls them.

This is the one that catches almost everybody.
Check the dashboard
Your rig appears on the live stats page within a couple of minutes, with its hashrate and shares. Payouts go to the same address, with no registration anywhere.
No worker name — this is the usual mistake
Nearly every other pool wants WALLET.WORKER. Ours does not. If your miner sends
0xYourAddress.rig1 the login is refused with:
username should be a valid evm address (start with 0x...)
Put the address alone in Username and clear any Worker or Rig name box. You lose nothing: several rigs on one address are still counted separately on the dashboard.
Sign in to your member account
At account.welshdag.co.uk. You prove the address is yours by signing a message — it costs nothing, it is not a transaction, and it never moves funds.
Press Connect wallet
Your wallet asks which account to share. Pick the address you mine with.
Approve the signature request
A window shows a short message. Signing is free and gives no permission to spend anything. If a screen ever asks you to approve a transaction or a spending allowance to sign in, stop — that is not us.
You are in
No password, no email needed. Sign in again from any device with the same wallet.
On a phone, open the site inside your wallet app
Mobile Safari and Chrome cannot see your wallet, so the button will say no wallet found. Open MetaMask (or Trust), find its built-in browser, and load the site there.
Pay for membership
Membership is USDT on Polygon and nothing else. Your payment is matched to your account by the address it is sent from — which is why it matters which wallet you pay with.
Pay from the wallet you signed in with
That is what tells us the payment is yours. Paying from a different wallet of your own is fine, but tell the operator so it can be matched by hand.
Send the amount for the plan you want
A few cents short is fine — if your wallet or exchange takes a fee, a $4.93 payment still buys a full month. Send more and the extra is credited pro-rata, never lost.
Wait about a minute
Your account updates on its own once the transfer confirms. There is nothing to submit and no receipt to upload.
Withdrawing straight from an exchange? Tell us
Money sent directly from Binance, Coinbase or similar arrives from the exchange's wallet, not yours, so we cannot tell whose payment it is. It is not lost — it waits for the operator to match it by hand. Send it to your own wallet first and pay from there, or message the operator with the transaction hash.
Polygon, not Ethereum
Polygon keeps the network fee at a few cents rather than several dollars. Make sure your wallet or exchange is set to Polygon before sending — the same address exists on other networks, and a payment sent on the wrong one needs a human to sort out.
